"Pretty good access, with a few tricky areas"
i mean, overall the zoo was really nice and we had a good time. We brought a stroller and most of the paths were manageable, but there were definitely a few steeper spots that got a little tiring. The wheelchair-accessible areas seemed doable, though not always the easiest to get through

I had a good time here. The exhibits were nice and easy to walk through, and the viewing areas felt clean and well kept. The animals looked like they were being taken care of, which I always appreciate. A few spots felt sorta close-up without feeling too cramped, and that made it more fun to take everything in. Overall, it’s a nice little zoo and an easy place to spend a relaxed afternoon

"Friendly enough, with a dash of chaos"
Most of the staff were really nice and greeted us when we came in, which was a good start. A couple of them seemed a bit rushed when we asked questions, because apparently curiosity was not on the schedule that day. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all, just felt a little uneven during our visit.

The perks are good overall, and I do think they add some real value. That said, they feel a bit limited compared to what you might reasonably expect. To be fair, it’s not a bad offering at all, but it would be nice to see a little more included so it feels more balanced.

"Decent day, but a little pricey"
In the end, we still had a decent day. The zoo was nice enough and we enjoyed walking around, but for the size of it, the tickets and snacks felt a bit on the expensive side. Not a bad visit, just maybe not the best value.

"We popped into the gift shop…"
We popped into the gift shop after our zoo visit and ended up finding some really cute things for the kids. The prices were pretty much what I expected, and not bad at all. The cashier was super friendly and even helped us track down the right size, which I really appreciated. Checkout was quick and easy too. It was a happy little end to our day, and I’d definitely shop there again.

"Such a fun visit"
I loved seeing all the different animals, the red pandas were definitely my favorite. I could’ve stood there watching them all day.

"Nice Zoo Visit, But the Crowds Were a Bit Much"
I had a decent time at the Akron Zoo overall. The animals were great to see, and the staff we talked to were friendly and helpful. That said, getting around was a little frustrating once it got busy. Some of the paths felt really crowded, and near the more popular animals it wasn’t always obvious where lines were supposed to start. I think a few more signs or staff members helping direct people would make a big difference. Still a nice place to visit, just a little stressful during peak crowds.

"Decent Visit, Slower Customer Service Than I Remember"
I had a decent time at the Akron Zoo overall. I’ve been there before and remember things feeling a little smoother, so the customer service this time stood out a bit. I emailed them with a question about ticket info, and it took a couple days to get a response. They did eventually answer my question and were polite enough, just not very quick. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, just felt kind of average this time around.

The fries came out nice and hot, and honestly... the kids didn’t leave a single bite. Can’t ask for much more than that!

"Nice easy zoo day with the kids"
Took my kids to Akron Zoo and we had a really good time. The place was clean, easy to get around, and the animals looked like they was well taken care of. The staff we talked to were super friendly too. It’s not a huge zoo, but that made it way less exhausting, especially with kids. Parking was easy, and we still saw a lot in just a few hours. We’d definitely go back.

"Nice zoo, but a little misleading"
The zoo itself was nice and we still had a good time, but I felt a bit misled by the information online. The website wasn’t very easy to navigate, so I had to guess my way through some details before going. Once we got there, the signs were also confusing, which made it harder to find our way around than it should’ve been.

"Nice for a Short Family Walk"
It’s not a huge place, so part of me wished there was a bit more to explore, but it was still a easy and relaxed walk with the kids. Good if you’re looking for something simple and not too tiring.

"I was really looking forward to…"
I was really looking forward to seeing a lot of animals, but unfortunately there just weren’t many around during my visit. It was a bit disappointing because that was the main reason I came. I still tried to make the best of it, but i left feeling a little sad and wishing the experience had been more memorable.

We went on a Saturday, and I was a little worried about the parking situation... but it ended up being totally fine!! The lot was right there, we didn’t have to walk far at all, and even getting out afterward wasn’t a hassle. It made the whole zoo trip feel way less stressful, which I really appreciated!!!

"Fun at Times, But the Waiting Wore Me Down"
Some of the activities were genuinely fun, and I had a good time in a few spots. But the lines got boring quickly and ended up taking away from the overall experience. Personally, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you’re patient, but I wouldn’t rush to go back.

"Nice zoo, but the cost adds up"
The ticket prices on akronzoo are reasonable at first glance. Not terrible. But when you’re buying for a whole family, oof, it adds up quicker than you expect. I do wish the site made the full total a little more obvious before you get to checkout. The zoo itself is nice and we had a good time, but it’s not exactly a cheap outing with kids. Fun. Just probably not something we’d do all the time.
